SmartRoaming/SmartConnect

Label:

I purchased SmartRoaming a year ago, shortly after I bought my E60 and have used it extensively. The ability to seamlessly move between different types of connection has not been important to me but being able to effectively use Access Point Groups has been very useful (since Nokia has not implemented this feature very well). I upgraded to SmartConnect several months ago and everything has worked flawlessly, until today. I noticed this afternoon that my email (I use M4E) had not updated since midnight last night. Upon investigating the problem, I went to the Birdstep SmartRoaming web page where a message pops up that says they are no longer supporting individual users, only corporations. WTF! I used this software extensively because I cannot get a good GPRS/EDGE connection at my home and but I can at my office, which does not have wifi. Therefore, I used SmartConnect and added my home router and my GPRS/EDGE connection so that at home I would connect via my wifi router and everywhere else via GPRS/EDGE. I have created an Access Point Group and added both my home router and my GPRS/EDGE connection but the Access Point Group is not accessible from M4E or several other programs for which I previously used SmartRoaming. Now I have to go into several different programs and manually change from my home wifi access point to my GPRS/EDGE connection or set it to always ask. Does anyone know of another product like SmartRoaming? As I said, I'm really just looking for a way to use Access Point Groups that works, I do not need to switch between different access points without loosing my connection.
